Event Description Presented by Christine Motta, Designer Assistant, Distance Learning & Education Technology and Adjunct Instructor. This workshop is for instructors and course developers and will focus on methods for finding instructional resources on the web. Topics will include: the purpose and utility of instructional resources, how to find resources and how to match resources with learning objectives. Participants will also learn search techniques, the “language” of the search and strategies for choosing materials. There will be time at the end of the presentation for colleagues to share a website they have found useful, a wiki will be created for further collaboration. (Will be held in a computer lab) |
