The Delaware Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) will be sponsoring their next meeting on May 2nd, starting at 5:30 PM in the Wilmington University WGC cafeteria / student lounge area.   

Our guest speaker, Paul Maurer, will be presenting “What’s HOT in Healthcare IT, Business drivers, key technologies and career networking tips.”

Paul Maurer, CPHIMS is the Director of Applications for Main Line Health System, an Integrated Delivery Network of four acute care hospitals and two rehab centers serving the western suburbs of Philadelphia PA.  In his current role, Paul's team is responsible for project management and the ongoing support of over 130 clinical, financial and administrative applications used throughout the health system.   Paul has over 24 years experience working in the field of healthcare information technology working for provider and vendor organizations in the tri-state region.   Paul is very active with the Delaware Valley HIMSS chapter (www.dvhimss.org), a professional society for healthcare IT professionals and is currently serving as Past President on their board of directors.  He is a graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA with a B.S. in Finance and minor in Computer Science and is pursuing a Masters in Business Intelligence.    He and his wife reside in Chester County PA where they attempt to peacefully coexist with their three teenagers.

The Delaware Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) will be sponsoring their next meeting on May 2nd, starting at 5:30 PM in the Wilmington University WGC cafeteria / student lounge area.   

Our guest speaker, Paul Maurer, will be presenting “What’s HOT in Healthcare IT, Business drivers, key technologies and career networking tips.”

Paul Maurer, CPHIMS is the Director of Applications for Main Line Health System, an Integrated Delivery Network of four acute care hospitals and two rehab centers serving the western suburbs of Philadelphia PA.  In his current role, Paul's team is responsible for project management and the ongoing support of over 130 clinical, financial and administrative applications used throughout the health system.   Paul has over 24 years experience working in the field of healthcare information technology working for provider and vendor organizations in the tri-state region.   Paul is very active with the Delaware Valley HIMSS chapter (www.dvhimss.org), a professional society for healthcare IT professionals and is currently serving as Past President on their board of directors.  He is a graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA with a B.S. in Finance and minor in Computer Science and is pursuing a Masters in Business Intelligence.    He and his wife reside in Chester County PA where they attempt to peacefully coexist with their three teenagers.
