Game Design and Development Information Session

Event Description

Wilmington University's College of Technology is hosting a Game Design and Development Information Session on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 3-6pm in the Doberstein Admission Center's Auditorium.  We invite you to join us and learn more about:

  • The Game Design and Development major
  • Financial Aid
  • Admissions Requirements
  • What you need to be prepared for the program
  • The applications you will use to create games
  • How to transfer in credits from another College

 On hand to answer your questions about the major will be the Game Design and Development instructors who will be teaching courses in the program.

 

Just Announced!

 Gamer Doc has generously agreed to lend consoles and games for prospective students to play while learning more about the program.We will have stations set up for students to compete on today's most popular games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Skate 3, Split Second, UFC 2010, and Soldner X2.
 Participants will be eligible to win prizes for scoring big on the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and Playstation 3!  Prizes include:

  • The player with the highest score/rank at each of the 5 stations will receive a $30 gift card to Gamer Doc.
  • Everyone who registers at the event will be entered into a drawing of two $60 gift cards to Gamer Doc.
  • Registrants will also be entered to win the grand prize - a $360 gift card to Gamer Doc! The drawing for this prize will take place in August.
