Doctorate of Nursing Practice

Saturday, March 16th, 2013
12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Wilson Graduate Center

Please join Wilmington University for an Information Session for the Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

Recent changes in health care delivery and emerging health care needs have made advanced nursing knowledge essential for practicing nurses. The Wilmington University Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree program prepares nurses to meet those rising demands.

What is DNP?

The DNP is the highest practice-focused degree in nursing, designed to prepare experts in specialized advanced practice nursing. Unlike a Ph.D in nursing, DNP program study emphasizes clinical practice versus research and academic pursuits.

Why WilmU DNP?

The WilmU DNP program delivers an innovative curriculum emphasizing healthcare engineering and interdisciplinary collaboration among faculty, hospitals, community leaders, and policy makers. Students learn to utilize both theory and data to promote the highest quality of care at the advanced level of professional nursing practice.

With a DNP, your career options are limitless. Make a mark on nursing administration, leadership and more.

Interested candidates must have a master’s degree in nursing with a focus as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Clinical Nurse Midwife (CNM), or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

Don't have a master's degree in nursing?

WilmU offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree program.

Register today! Click the yellow registration button at the top of this page.

We are looking forward to seeing you on March 16th!
