The service industry is one of the nation’s fastest growing areas. With many professionals retiring in the next five to 10 years, the employment forecast for sales professionals is promising. This certificate prepares students for careers in professional sales, with curriculum focusing on sales techniques, data analysis, technology, consumer behavior, ethics, communication, customer service, presentations and proposals. Students can select one course based on their professional interests that encompass general sales, hospitality, or sports. They will also have opportunities to practice new techniques in class, and then transfer those acquired competencies in the workplace or job interview.
