We know that every student is different, so our Wildcats enjoy individualized attention and flexible course options and scheduling.

Support at every step of your journey

Each WilmU student has a story, a journey, goals and needs. Our faculty and staff take them all to heart. Our goal is to provide comprehensive and caring support to every student, from their first contact with WilmU through their lifetime as a proud graduate.

Academic Advising

Academic Advising services are an essential element of the WilmU student support system. We incorporate a guided pathways approach to help you develop long-term academic plans and set short-term goals to achieve those plans, including options like Dual-Credit ADVANTAGETM.

Student Affairs

WilmU values the success and well-being of our students above all else. The Office of Student Affairs is the central resource for students seeking information and guidance, from student accessibility and financial empowerment to housing resources and health and wellness options.

Countless online resources

Our 17,000+ students taking courses online have access to the same support services as face-to-face students, delivered in an accessible online format.

When I started attending WilmU, I saw a lot of people just like me and a lot of other women in the same situation trying to overcome the same barriers and obstacles.

I felt like I was a part of a family. There was camaraderie amongst the students and professors. Everyone had a good relationship with each other.”

Before I officially transferred to WilmU, seeing the other students from Wilmington University at [a gaming event] so passionate, so friendly, so willing to help me, who was learning for the first time [how to make a game], was delightful.

It really helped show me that I was in a good place, and as I went to my classes and started making games myself, I realized I was in the right place.”

My time at Wilmington University was a great experience. We had very interesting discussions during lectures, and outside of lectures, I made friends. I went to different campuses during my studies, and I was very comfortable in all of the environments.

I always wanted to get an education in the United States. I knew if I ever had to go back to my country, I could use my education and knowledge to do something good.”

One of the things that I really enjoyed was the diversity of the individuals that attend Wilmington University in any given class. There were so many people from so many different walks of life, so many different socioeconomic backgrounds.

We got to see whatever topic we were studying from so many different perspectives, and I learned so much not just from the instructors in my classes but from my classmates as well."
