Wilmington University works to provide streamlined pathways to Delaware high school students so they can save time and tuition while earning their bachelor's or associate degree. Explore available pathways to WilmU and discover why WilmU works for your college experience.

Delaware Pathways are career-oriented Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs available at select high schools. Students who complete a Pathway are guaranteed admission to the majority of WilmU’s 200+ accredited degree programs and can earn up to 18 academic credits.

Available Pathways to Wilmington University
Academy of Business Information Management (AOBIM)
Interested in business, economics or entrepreneurship? The NAF Academy of Business Information & Management (AOBIM) may be for you. In this pathway, students who earn the NAFTrack Certification will experience work-based learning and have the opportunity to complete a 120-hour paid summer internship.
Students who successfully complete this three (3) course pathway will earn up to 12 academic credits, as well as guaranteed admission to the WilmU College of Business.

The Academy of Business Information Management Pathway curriculum aligns with the following WilmU bachelor’s degree programs:
Academy of Finance
Interested in accounting or finance? The NAF Academy of Finance Pathway may be for you. In this pathway, students who earn the NAFTrack Certification will experience work-based learning and have the opportunity to complete a 120-hour paid summer internship.

Criminal Justice and Legal Issues
Interested in criminal justice? The Criminal Justice and Legal Issues Pathway allows students to jumpstart their law enforcement careers with relevant courses and hands-on experience.
Students who successfully complete this three (3) course pathway will earn up to 9 academic credits, as well as guaranteed admission to the WilmU College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and WilmU College of Technology.

Digital Communication Technology (DCT)
Interested in design, digital media, or technology? The Digital Communications Technology (DCT) Pathway allows students to jumpstart their digital careers with relevant courses and hands-on experience.
Students who successfully complete this three (3) course pathway will earn up to 18 academic credits, as well as guaranteed admission to the WilmU College of Technology.

Early Childhood Teacher Academy
Interested in pursuing a career in early childhood? The Early Childhood Teacher Academy Pathway allows students to jumpstart their early childhood education careers with relevant courses and hands-on experience.
Students who successfully complete at least the (3) course pathway will earn up to 6 academic credits, as well as guaranteed admission to the WilmU College of Education and Liberal Arts. They also are eligible for the reoccurring WilmU Works for Aspiring Teachers Scholarship, which can reduce the tuition cost of a licensure teacher preparation bachelor's degree by as much as $7,196.

Gene Editing
Interested in health sciences or biotechnology? The Gene Editing Pathway may be for you. In this pathway, students will study topics such as DNA, disease, and gene therapy, and jumpstart their careers with relevant courses and hands-on experience.
Students who successfully complete this one (1) course pathway will earn up to 3 academic credits, as well as guaranteed admission to the WilmU College of Health Professions and Natural Sciences.

The Gene Editing Pathway curriculum aligns with the following WilmU bachelor’s degree programs:
K-12 Teacher Academy
Interested in teaching? The K-12 Teacher Academy Pathway gives students the opportunity to jumpstart their careers in elementary and secondary education with relevant courses and hands-on experience.
Students who successfully complete at least the (3) course pathway will earn up to 6 academic credits, as well as guaranteed admission to the WilmU College of Education and Liberal Arts. The Marketing Today! Pathway curriculum aligns with the following WilmU bachelor's degree programs:
Public and Community Health
Interested in public policy and human services? The Public and Community Health Pathway allows students to jumpstart their social and behavioral science careers with relevant courses and hands-on experience. Students will also have the opportunity to receive certifications in Mental Health First Aid and American Heart Association CPR/First Aid.
Students who successfully complete this three (3) course pathway will earn up to 9 academic credits, as well as guaranteed admission to the WilmU College of Health Professions and Natural Sciences.
WilmU Bachelor's Paths
The Public and Community Health Pathway curriculum aligns with the following WilmU bachelor’s degree programs:
Students matriculating into Wilmington University will need to provide an official high school transcript with a minimum of 80% or letter grade of B in the applicable course(s) to receive college credit. Credits applicable to Wilmington University under these agreements are recorded as transfer credit and unlikely to transfer to other institutions of higher education.
