Program Purpose
Biotechnology is a dynamic field with wide-ranging implications, from medicine to ecological conservation. This certificate program in biotechnology equips students with the necessary skills to excel in the biotech industry. The program uses computational tools and covers coursework in cell culture, proteomics, and immunology. Students will also explore topics such as genetic engineering and DNA extraction.
Program of Study
The Biotechnology Certificate consists of twenty-one (21) undergraduate credits. Interested students must consult with an academic advisor and/or Natural Sciences program chair to plan the appropriate course sequencing and selection. Courses may be completed within a baccalaureate program at Wilmington University.
