Earn credit toward a BSN while pursuing your Associate Degree in Nursing

Wilmington University's Pre-R.N. Option is aimed exclusively at eligible second-level associate degree nursing students who may be waiting for clinical placement at their home institutions, or who wish to earn credits toward a WilmU BSN on a part-time basis while completing their nursing associate degree at their home institution.

A Pathway That Pepares You To Lead

This Pre-R.N. pathway provides the rigor of a leading nursing degree program combined with the flexibility to balance education with your personal, professional, and other educational commitments. Wilmington University's College of Health Professions faculty have real-world experience and understand the challenges facing today's health care professionals. They lead CCNE-accredited nursing degree programs that will prepare you for leadership positions in nursing and health care.

The Pre-R.N. option includes specific upper division courses and health (HLT) electives that include high profile contemporary topics.

To begin the Pre-R.N. course of study, first apply to the R.N. to BSN program and enter "PENDING" in place of R.N. License Number.

NOTE: To apply to the BSN program at Wilmington University, applicants must be in the process of completing an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution, already be a Registered Nurse, or be in an R.N. nursing program that leads to state board licensure.
