Celebrate National Library Week with the WilmU Library

April 7 - 13, 2025

National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.

This year’s theme, “ Drawn to the Library,” celebrates the many ways we utilize libraries - for research, study, exploration, entertainment, connection, and growth.

Celebrate National Library Week With Us:

  • De-stress with Dogs! - Wednesday, April 9th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Take a break from studying to come pet some pups!
P.A.W.S. for People will be in the Library on the New Castle Campus.
  • Art in the Library - All Week Long
Stop by the Library and contribute to our collaborative art project.
  • Giveaways and snacks - All Week Long
  • Raffle prizes - Win an art supplies gift basket or a $25 Michaels Craft Store Gift Card! What draws you to the library? or What’s your favorite graphic novel/comic? Tell us for a chance to win: www.tinyurl.com/33hesjte
