About ACCUPLACER® at Wilmington University
The College Board developed ACCUPLACER® Computerized Placement Tests (CPTs) to provide information about student levels of skill in reading and writing. In order to best position our students for academic success, students are required to complete proficiency tests as part of the admission process. Please check with the Office of Academic Advising or Student Services if you are not sure which test(s) you need to take.
If you have any questions about a test item, you may write to:
The College Board

You will receive a written response to any question you submit. Visit The College Board's web site for more information about ACCUPLACER®.
Special Arrangements for Students with Disabilities
If you have a documented disability that would prevent you from taking the test under standard conditions, you may request accommodations through Student Accessibility Services. Accommodated testing is offered by appointment after appropriate documentation has been submitted and reviewed. No charge is made for these arrangements. Extended testing time is already provided for the test. A calculator is also provided during math testing; it appears when calculator use is appropriate. For details on arranging accommodations, please contact the Student Accessibility Services.
