User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) merge design, content, business, and marketing strategies to create cross-platform design experiences. User experience places the focus on users and their needs in employing technology and devices. User interface addresses customer interaction with the products and services of a company. The overall experience with a product must be enjoyable and positive, as well as efficient, safe, and ethical. This 18-credit undergraduate certificate is a combination of computer science and design courses with the object of adding interdisciplinary skills to your design process.
The UX/UI Design certificate has set a minimum passing grade of "C" for each of the six required courses. Students receiving a grade lower than "C" in any of the specified courses must retake those courses.
