Text Messaging from Wilmington University

Wilmington University will subscribe students, faculty, and staff to receive text messages to the mobile phone numbers they provided to us via our primary alert/notification system.* For additional information regarding privacy and managing your contact information, please see Updating and Managing Your Contact Information.

CONSENT/OPT-IN: Consent is obtained from each constituent at the start of our relationship, during either an inquiry, application for admission, enrollment, or hiring.

OPT-OUT: To manage options for text messaging, constituents may reply to WilmU messages with special text commands below.

Message Types and Sending Numbers

Most text messages* from Wilmington University will come from one of the following “short” phone numbers:

    To stop receiving text messages from Wilmington University for the most recent message type/number as listed above.
  • STOP ALL
    To stop receiving ALL text messages from Wilmington University (emergency and non-emergency).
