Admission Requirements for Home Schooled Graduates

Wilmington University welcomes all Home School graduates. Please submit the following:

1. A Completed Undergraduate Application

A $35 non-refundable application fee is required.

1. Home Schooled Transcript

Please upload your transcript(s) as a word document or PDF in your Admissions Portal.

1. Two Letters of Recommendation

Applicants are required to request the submission of two letters of recommendation through the Admissions Portal. Recommenders must speak to the applicant’s academic ability and may not be personally related to the applicant.

1. Standardized Test Scores (SAT or ACT)

Please request official scores to be sent to Wilmington University.

1. Statement of Goals

Please provide a 2-3 page paper describing your academic goals and why Wilmington University is your choice to continue your academic career. Please upload as a word document or PDF in your Admissions Portal.

In addition, you may need to complete an English and Math Assessment prior to registering for required first-year English and Math courses. Entering students are required to take both assessments unless exempted due to standardized test scores or transfer credits.
