Online Learning Options
Thank you for dedicating time to explore the Online Learning options and requirements at Wilmington University! We understand that your learning preferences are unique. To tailor your educational journey to your preferred learning style, we encourage you to examine the four types of online courses we offer: Hybrid, Online, Flexible, and Online Live. Tuition for all online courses is billed at the New Castle tuition rate. This ensures the optimal technology-enhanced learning experience for you, ultimately leading to an engaging and fulfilling educational journey.
Please note: At WilmU, all courses, whether held on-campus or online, are web-enhanced, utilizing the Canvas learning management system, and may be structured as semester, modular, or block classes. Students should expect to utilize Canvas for various online activities in each course throughout their enrollment, including completing weekly readings, assignments, and other learning tasks. This underscores the importance of meeting the technology requirements for online courses, which is mainly convenient and reliable access to a computer and the Internet. For students encountering difficulties in this regard, open computers are available at university locations, and a limited number of laptops are accessible through the WilmU Library's Laptop Lending program. Should this present a specific challenge, we encourage you to seek assistance from an academic advisor or site director.
